There were overripe banannas mocking me from the counter.
I mentally followed this problem through to its logical conclusion--banana bread.
While I was implementing this solution, I touched my hand to the top of a very hot oven. I don't know if it was just the edge or not, but I suspect it was one fo the coils. There's a small oval burn on the back of my hand, right over the tendon that goes to my index finger.
The skin instatly puckered a bit, and turned white. Now, a half hour later after lots of time under water/ice, it just looks red, and feels tight.
I wish I wasn't such a clutz in the kitchen my fingers already have three tiny burn scars, and now my hand might have one too?
This sucks. I need better motor skills, I guess.
