Happy Thanksgiving
I am so. full.
Here in Northern California with my relatives, hella cousins and aunts and uncles. Had an enormous dinner with about 19 or 20 people, drank hella champagne. Am currently buzzed enough that I keep typing 0 for o and having to go back and correct it multiple times. Life is good, and family is wonderful.
But Thanksgiving Day is not only about feasting with relatives, it's about giving thanks (obviously) for what you have. Since this is my livejournal, I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you fine folk.
Thank you, folks on my friends list, for entertaining my questions and commentary, my crazy, my enthusiasm, and my skepticism.
Thank you, folks who have friended me and guests who have commented, for sharing your opinions and perspectives and your funny fanworks with me. Thanks also for feeding that tiny need for self-verification that comes with a high number of friends listed and regular feedback from visitors; it is the curse of livejournal to base even a sliver of self-esteem on something so arbitrary and capricious, but everybody does it anyway, against their better judgement. So thank you.
To all my foreign friends, for whom today is no particularly special day: Thank you.
That's probably it for tonight; tomorrow I am going to a museum in San Francisco that should be wonderful to see. Have a good night, and remember: champange+driving=CERTAIN DEATH!!!!*
