I'm in a fic slump that coincides with my current RL job, which doesn't really leave room to write fic at all. I'm sure when one ends the other will resurge.

If you look at the HP fic I've already written, you'll notice nobody uses spells. I... can't even think of a single fic I've written where a character has said a canon spell name aloud. It's kind of funny how I've unconciously or semi-conciously gotten around it.

Hah! Neither my conscious or unconscious could find a way around it. Thankfully, the one time I wrote HP fic, I happened to be corresponding with a dude who knew Latin, so making up a spell name (Animam Suffoco!) was easy, 'cause I could pick his brain! ((sends positive vibes at him, wherever he may be))

I didn't know the pilot was out. I thought that was going to be a fall series? I did think the trailer was promising.

It is a fall show, but fall shows have been leaked all over the damn place this summer. Srsly, the first two eps of Dexter have been out a while, and so have the pilots of Pushing Daisies, Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Chuck.
