Wow. This was really well put-together. I can't say I'm familiar with Highlander, but I thought you really did the characters justice. The bit where Billy opens the door to find her there is really just very... true to the way the writing in the series sounded.

I loved this line: "He'd always been skittish, but now Penny wondered if he'd vanish if she spoke too loudly or moved too fast."
