Since Sakura has a history of mental instability (and yet somehow, she's saner than Sasuke and half the ninjas of the village), I can imagine her having a PTSD breakdown right there.

And actually, my Sasuke/Naruto friend was telling me about how there was a shift from that pairing to Naruto/Sakura after they realized that Naruto/Sasuke was just going to end fucking badly and that Naruto/Sakura is getting kinda cool in shipudeen.
