If my flist hadn't told me this was a caper show, I'd never have known from the marketing.

no idea what ep this clip is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nwJr8pxU14

"Did you see me?"
"He was injured."
"Well somebody gotta fight the injured. Shoot, that's my niche."

*giggle*

Okay, I'll watch this. I do love caper shows.

I was really looking forward to this show but actually seeing--meh. It just not quite as clever as it could be. In comparison to shows like Hustle or Burn Notice it falls awfully flat.

Parker's cute as hell, though.

I've seen two eps. It reminds me of Psych--an amusing diversion, cute and interesting, but not brain-melting clever. But sometimes I'm okay with "decently entertaining" when my other options are BSG (beautiful stupid angst fest I will finish one day, promise), Lost (too confusing, I am afraid to commit past season 1), and True Blood (saw two eps...ehh...)

I think Timothy Hutton is a pretty boring lead, but the others are funny/cute at different levels. I like the actress from Coupling. And the guy from Angel is growing on me.

Is that where he's from? I kept eying the bastard and wondering.

Yeah, I'm hopelessly addicted to TruBlood and those damn books and Idon'twannatalkaboutit.

Are you serious? What have you been doing to yourself in our months since talking?

I read the first book. It was... it was so mediocre. And she was so MarySue perfect blond virgin wanted-by-two-powerful-vampires-and-a-werewolf psychic princess uhhggh.

I had hoped the tv show would be better, make me like it more, and I liked the actress for her best friend, but after two or three eps I just was like "Uh...who cares?" And it takes a lot for a vampire tv show to bore me, yo.

It's not that it's bad, it's just...mediocre. And I find tv Bill completely unattractive.

On the other hand, I am four episodes into Being Human and it is delicious. THAT is how to write about monsters living among us.
