I read the first book. It was... it was so mediocre. And she was so MarySue perfect blond virgin wanted-by-two-powerful-vampires-and-a-werewolf psychic princess uhhggh.
I had hoped the tv show would be better, make me like it more, and I liked the actress for her best friend, but after two or three eps I just was like "Uh...who cares?" And it takes a lot for a vampire tv show to bore me, yo.
It's not that it's bad, it's just...mediocre. And I find tv Bill completely unattractive.
On the other hand, I am four episodes into Being Human and it is delicious. THAT is how to write about monsters living among us.
