HIMYM finale

Watched it, loved it, giggled at it, can't really figure out what to say about it. There's just too much!

Except maybe that I'm finally liking Ted again this season.

Liking the main character is a good thing.

What made you start liking Ted again?

It's been the whole season. He hasn't been so up&down in his writing, and he's been more likeable. I don't like it when they use Ted to send a message about maturity (even though I get it, as he is "discovering" himself as the main character in his life), and thankfully the only times he did that this season, it was often played for laughs, such as with Ted and Barney's age list. And I like Ted post-break up almost more than any other time, because at least he's humbled toward everyone.

The finale stuff with Ted being a professor? I THINK IT'S PERFECT. It fits him just right, and I like how they've led up to it, with his love of discussing architecture for hours, and his finicky grammar corrections.

Yeah, he's going to be a good teacher. And he HAS had at least one building of his design made, which I think counts for something.
