It freaked me out when yesterday I watched "Hush" for the first time in months with my roommate Ali, then I turned on my computer and found this stuff going on.
Weeeeeeeeeeird.
Personally, I find every one of the title-credits main characters in the RPG to be rather Off in some way. (It's really annoying when the presumably more highly educated characters can't SPELL, for one thing.) I agree about their Spike--I may or may not know of the writer, but I recognize the style of writing, and I DON'T think that's a good thing. And I definitely agree about the insertion of the "Charmed" characters. I don't like that show at all for the awful, awful writing and acting alone, but I didn't start actively loathing until they started treating Cole (who in the few episodes I saw I disliked slightly less than everybody else) even worse than some people think other people treat Spike. See? I'm even rabidly overprotective of the Spike-RIPOFF-characters. *EG*
That said, several of the supporting characters are a *scream*. I can't POSSIBLY say enough good thing things about thefirstevil, for instance. (Dude, oxymoronic sentence.) Best.Parody.Evaaaaah. I really like that0therguy, too--Spidey-fan! I SQUEAK with joy! And I've fallen in love with holden_vamp--I loved the show's "real" Holden so immediately and much that if he'd stuck around (HE ATEN'T DEAD! HE'S IN HIDING!) he might've given Spike a run for his place atop my Vamps to SQUEE Over list. LJ!Holden is snarky, can spell, doesn't writhe into backbreaking throes of mischaracterization, and all in all gives good LJ. And the pseudoromance with harmony_vamp is a trip.
Or should I say "WAS".
*sighs and holds up a lighter for The First Evil and Holden* Come back to meeeeeeeeeeeee!
But I keep hellmouth_news around 'cause the headlines amuse me. Usually more than the posts that they link to. Which is quite sad.
When I saw that the Sunnydale *Weather* had gotten an LJ, I knew it was all going to hell...
