Ok, so if things go badly next week and Spike dies or is turned evil or cusses out Buffy or something, we'll know it'll be all Angel's fault for showing up. It'll be a trackable thing, chart-worthy. See Spike. See Buffy. See Buffy and Spike happy and falling in love. See Angel. See it all go to hell and everything that was lovely be ruined. See the repenting and champion Angel be the source of two good people's total unhappiness and loss of love.

I'm totally prepared to resent Angel completely for any future badness. I'm taking all possible blame off Buffy or Spike and am prepared to cast it entirely on Angel. I can do that, because I like Angel on his own show and hate him in Sunnydale. An opinion validated again tonight.
