The Great Disclaimer Poem
I wrote this three years ago, when I still thought people actually read the disclaimers on stories.
I would love to own the Highlander
But still never could I find the cur
Who sold me the show for two cents and a dime
Oh but the shame, it still never was mine!
That man was a fake by the name of Joe Dawson
He said, "Here take them!" and I thought I had caught one
But then in came the lawyers in their suits of bright blue
And hungry and broke into the jail I flew.
Never to see that cute Scotsman again
Oh what have I come to, o'er my stupid pen!
