akavertigo has a great idea.

You know how for every one fanfic you post on the internet there's five ideas that never get written? Ten outlines that never become fanfics? Entire Alternate Universes or crossovers or fusions that so brilliant in your mind but only manage to come out in a single paragraph, or an opening chapter at best?

How about giving those neglected AUs a home. How about giving the rest of fandom an open passport to tackle a universe you've brushed aside.

Here's the idea. It's so awesome. I'd love to have someone play with my never-written Harry Potter/Hamlet fusion.. I'd love to write a single scene for someone's Buffy AU where Giles never left in season 6.

Come on. It'd be fun.
