Doctor Who

"The Satan Pit"

Very enjoyable, though the Doctor's dialogue felt a bit heavy-handed. Then again, Ten is heavier-handed at speech than Nine was. Loved Rose this episode (I always love Rose.) Liked the graphics. Thought the story resolution was a little weak, but overall I enjoyed the episode.

I enjoyed the whole 2-parter, but not the latest episode "Love and Monsters". Mostly because there wasn't enough Doctor and Rose. Gah. Let me know what you think :)

I was so letdown by nearly everything in "The Satan Pit".

I thought you might be. Overall it lacked the punch that the first episode seemed to promise.

The fact they wasted 35 minutes on "the chase" and the Doctor waxing philosophical about the nature of what makes humans curious frustrated me. By the time he faced off with "The Beast", he had roughly five minutes to draw about fifty conlusions about why he wasn't dead, why he was there, what he was supposed to do ... I've seen the episode three times and I still don't understand his leaps in logic to come to the conclusions he did.
