Test
Hm... I was bored, and I followed a link to an online IQ test.
I've taken two of these online before, one which had about 25 questions, and one which had abou 80. The former gave me a score of 126, and the latter a score of 125. That was about two years ago, both taken within days of each other.

However, if I take all the online scores from three tests and, as they are all unreliable being that they are all free and online, my average score is 127, which according to my Psych text book would make me approximately smarter than 96-98% of the national population. That's kind of cool. I wish I could take an official test though soemtime, instead of various online ones, which seem to vary in their results.

But 125-135 (mine, and yours too) is a very large range for a score, so I'm thinking there's obviously some downsides in taking tests online.

Yeah, I think there is a definite downside to taking the tests online, the biggest being that each test is different so of course you can score differently on each one. But online testing gives a ballpark figure, I think. So we both know we're fairly close to being geniuses if not exactly geniuses, and that's kinda nice to know :)

You know that IQ tests are generally considered an excellent indication fo how good you are at.....IQ tests. Despite many years of research, billions of pounds and god knows how many psychology Papers, no one has yet found a good, agreed upon measure of intelligence.
Well Thats what my Psychology degree taught me!
