Let's just say the local pop station doesn't take my calls anymore.

John Meyer's song "Waiting On the World to Change" is a load of whiny, simpering garbage. Yeah, I said it. And you know it's true.

I haven't heard the song in question. But given that I could say that about a good number of his songs, I'll throw in my agreement-hat.

ugh, i hate that song.

agreed.

I mean, seriously. The lyrics... Are so annoying. It's basically, "Well, we can't change the ills of the world because we don't have the power. So we'll just chill."

Ooh, simpering. I'd forgotten that word existed, and it's so great for describing so many crappy songs. Although I don't know that particular one. Still.

OMG YES. I wince everytime the damn thing starts playing on the radio. Ugh.

OMG. White Boy Entitlement Issues/Abnegation of Responsibility -- OTP 4evah!

Dear John, Go deliver a Christmas basket to the families of the neighbors that you can't bring home from war, asshole. I'm sure you could think of positive things to do with your money if you thought really hard, but you'd rather wait for somebody else. ASSSHOLE!

I have never heard it, but the lyrics are enough. It's for ideals like those that the world slows for.

Here, have some Tori Amos. The Waitress is particularly good for standard venting.

Damn! I messed up my grammar :(
