My predictive powers are shiny!
I recently got a review for my very first ATLA fic (an incredibly short spoof thing that mocks the K/Z pairing) and I reread the ficlet after receiving the review, only to find that in 568 words written in the middle of season 1 I'd predicted several things that have since come to pass, and most of them in chapter 3:
- bears (not armadillo bears or gofer bears, just bears!)
- Zuko with his back against the wall
- Zuko getting poked with big sticks (literally)
- naked Sokka (or nearly)
- a certain person unnamed for spoiler reasons choosing their mission over their girlfriend
- certain people in a cave together + awkward silences
The sticks thing is the one I find most amusing, especially given the context of the phrase within the spoof.
