Another thing that annoys me about Misa being the only major female character so far is that my annoyance with her and the mysogyny of her characterization is preventing me from fully enjoying her as Stupid Comic Relief. That quote above, for instance, made me snicker. But after I snickered I once again was reminded that this annoying person who brings comic moments from Light because of her repulsive noise level and her clingyness is also the only woman on the show, and that's just depressing. Sucks all the fun out of laughing at her.

This episode was mostly filler, and a bit boring for that. Why do Light and L have to spell out everything when it comes to possibly suspecting each other?

Not really. Just tag it "challenge" or "contest" (whichever is appropriate) when you're done. Sometimes mods post challenges if business is slow and we want to get excitement back up, but other times members post challenges too. There's no formal process, just make the post.

It doesn't get any better in the female character department. Just wait until later, after the next two (I think?) arcs are finished. Misa only gets WORSE. Still no other decent women show up.
