Just rewatched the last few minutes of Awakenings.

Angelus does have the coolest evil laugh in Jossverse, it's simple truth.

Also, had a thought. Maybe Angel was doing the world some good when he was hiding in sewers for 90-odd years. He certainly seemed to keep track of his soul better when no one else was around. Just a thought.

I'd suggest you're right. That damn happy clause does require audience participation after all.

I had a thought re the Buffy whisper. He was definately in "ah, SHIT!" mode- realizing what a huge, honking mistake this was. And he called for the one person who can take his ass DOWN. Ain't no one at AI can get that job done.

Or, yanno. As Jenny O said, his perfect Cordy is, well, Buffy. Which is interesting since Buffy's perfect Spike looks so damn much like Angel. What any of this means, mind you, is up for grabs.

Personally, I just wanna see leather pants again.
