Re: JM's singing ability & LJ arguements
Oh grow up people. All of you.
The whole damn lot who are actually bothering to discuss this in more than one LJ entry.

Re: Buffy, and tKiM
1) Am I the only Buffy fan on LJ who hasn't turned into a complete spastic killjoy? It's TV. It's not the Bible. ME is not catering to your expectations, they're doing what they want with their show. Have fun and enjoy the damn thing before your face freezes in that perpetually scrunched-up expression.
2) Adam B. (Warren) ruled this ep. He stole every scene right out from under AH's perky little nose. The fact that I hate everything about Warren with an undying passion yet found the Warren-as-Willow startingly engaging and sympathetic and the kiss to be be hot as firecrackers speaks highly of his acting talent.
3) Spike and Buf-fy sitting in the dark, K-I-S-S with lots of sparks...
Out comes the chip, then comes the lickin', then comes apocalypse and they're two dead chickens.

What's-his-face was looking extra-especially hot in this episode. And I think the nice sister is his new love interest.

Re:
Any time. :) I think I'm going to start making a mental list of "upbeat people" and "downer people", and when it comes to a post-Buffy entry, I'm only going to read the upbeat ones. Cause I really don't need all that tripe. And I don't need to feel guilty for liking the show, or to feel that I need to justify my like of it, or to start to question my own opinion and happiness about it because everyone around me has a stick up their butt. I love this season, and I don't think it's the worst season, or that the show is dying, or that the writers are inept and repetitive. This is my favorite season, and I'm tired of reading about how everyone thinks it sucks so much.
But I'm glad to know you're with me. ;)

Yes. Thank you. No more that I can add to that except "word". I love this season.

I think so too.

Oh boy, I absolutely agree with you (and just wrote about it in my LJ). Like you, I'm totally enjoying the show...

And Adam Busch was awesome. I never knew he had so much talent but I should have, as Warren scared me to death. The part where he's in the backyard, crying for Tara, was just... WOW. He moved me more than AH.

And did I mention Giles is alive? Huh?
Re:
That pleased me too! :g: I loved his comment about taking girls camping and not touching them.

I still love Buffy. I love Dawn, I like Andrew, I heart B/S. I loved most of this season. I didn't like the last few episodes. I will still watch the show, though. Unless it gets to the point where I can't stand to be in the same room when it's on (which is highly unlikely) I will watch. I know some people love every single Buffy episode and hate reading bad reviews. That's why I tried to label mine as such.
Re:
Big hearty chuckle here
I did think AH did an especially good job here, so I'll have to disagree with you on that point. We now know why Willow has been so subdued. Otherwise, my only complaints are minor: they crammed way too much into one episode and the chip cliffhanger is a little too "As The World Turns" for me, but otherwise, I was quite please with this ep. Kennedy annoys me, but that's just cuz I loved Tara so much. And Amy Rat. ::ugh:: Wanted Kennedy to kick her *ass*. And enough of torturing Spike. You pay the man to act, let him *act*! ::Sigh:: Okay, maybe a few issues, but really -- I did enjoy this ep. But I'm with you. It's a teevee show.
L.
PS. Sorry if this is more down than I meant. I really did groove on the Spike/Buffy stuff, the Giles stuff, the car ride with Andrew, the fighting the demon in the dark, and the oh-so-helpful secret Army organization.

Let me quote friend
31. And the Emmy goes to...James Marsters for "Dying Vampire on the Floor". *Applause*.

DUDE!!! I want to marry you and have your babies.
I've said this same thing many times, although not nearly as succinctly. It's like, okay, if you're bitter about the show.... STOP FUCKING WATCHING! Don't ruin it for the rest of us who are still enjoying it every week.
When XF [opinion]started to really suck in the 8th & 9th season[/opinion], I was watched bitterly for a few episodes... and then I found something else to watch on Sunday nights. I didn't force myself to watch, and then bitch about how unfair it was that the show wasn't the way I wanted it to be. I got over it.
Woah... that went a little longer than I anticipated. Thanks for letting me rant.

Are you recently male? That's a prerequisite for me. :D But I love gettin' the offer anyway.

You and the rest of the planet. I'll end up buying the DVDs some day though, I'm sure.
