That general fanfic meme going around
Going purely from ff.net here, since I've religiously archived 95% of my fanfic there.
1. How many words of fanfic have you submitted? 266,675 words
2. How many people have you on alerts? 429 alerts
3. How many people have faved you? 514 favs
4. Which fandoms do you write for? *current
Gundam Wing/AC, Sailor Moon, X-overs, X-Files, Dragon Ball Z, Blue Seed, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Inuyasha, Trigun, Fushigi Yuugi, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Cowboy Bebop, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Naruto, Fruits Basket, Fullmetal Alchemist, Princess Tutu, Avatar: Last Airbender, Doctor Who, Ironman, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Dark Tower series, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
5. How many stories have you written?
144 stories under two account names, but at least five of those are drabble collections with multiple ficlets contained within.
6. Which story of yours would you recommend for people to read?
This is tricky. I am loathe to even remember stuff from seven or eight years ago... hmm. I'll do this by fandom:
Avatar:
Life's Not Fair #10 (culture and music and grief - gen)
Heartbeat (dark: “Please God, make me a stone.”)
The Moon And The Sun #25 (tension & hotness)
Whose Hearts Are Mountains (mature, romance, angst)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: This Is Your Life (post-Chosen Spike, no AtS)
One Minute in the Life of a Vampire Slayer (gen group angst)
How I Met Your Mother: Hold Tight (ficlet #3) (BroTP)
Dr. Horrible: Some Kind of Hero (crossover w/HIMYM, humor)
Big Bang Theory: It's Only Time (AU, angst, bittersweetdark)
Naruto: Lucid (mature, like way mature, SERIOUSLY)
The Most Dramatic GutWrenching Tragic Rape Fic Ever to Grace FF.Net (spoof)
Harry Potter: Butterbeer Caps (drabbles for Luna Lovegood)
Trigun: On High (unashamed romanticism, oh yeah!)
Cowboy Bebop: Don't Look Back (angst and poetic language 4 teh win!)
7. Which story are you most proud of?
"This Is Your Life" and "Whose Hearts Are Mountains"
8. Which one was your biggest challenge?
"Whose Hearts Are Mountains", which I angsted and wibbled and stressed over, not the least because it was my first mature-content fic with teenagd characters, but also as the first fic I sent to a beta in about 5 years.
9. Which one had the most reviews?
"Culture Clash" - Avatar - Zuko & Katara: The True Hollywood Story! A boy, a girl, and a bit of legal confusion equals a love story so powerful it makes baby!Jesus cry. Or it would, if baby!Jesus existed in Avatarverse.
10. Which had the least?
"Between the Tick & the Tock & the Bell, We Live" and "Beyond", both Doctor Who fanfics that got most noticed on LJ and thus only 1 review on ff.net. -_-()
11. Which story do you feel deserved the most reviews?
I've written too much in too many fandoms to answer that question. I honestly have no idea. I posted my first fanfic in Septemenber of 2000, after 144 different fics--some of them drabble collections of even more fics--there's been batches of entire stories I've plum forgotten I wrote. You could read my own text back to me and I might not even recognize it, even if I'd been incredibly proud of it in the past and felt it deserving of reviews.
12. Which story was your longest?
Excluding scattered drabble collections, "Our Cartography" - Can people spend days talking and never really say anything to each other? - Avatar
13. Which story was your shortest?
"Rebirth in Dust" - "It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything." - Buffy
14. Which story was a surprise hit?
"The Most Dramatic GutWrenching Tragic Rape Fic Ever to Grace FF.Net" - This was written 5 years ago and I still get occasional reviews for it. I wrote it to spoof a lot of the bad Naruto fic I'd seen where one of the twelve-year-old characters gets attacked in hurt/comfort fics. The writing's deliberately over the top one moment and deadpan the next, and even though it's been long since jossed, people still seem to like it, adding it to favorites lists. Cool thing: I've gotten 1 review for every 5 words in this ficlet.
15. What story are you most known for?
"Culture Clash" for Avatar, and "The Most Dramatic GutWrenching Tragic Rape Fic Ever to Grace FF.Net" for Naruto. Both are spoofs, definitely not meant to be taken seriously.
16. What fandom are you most known for?
Avatar: The Last Airbender hands down, though I am/was also quite active in ship-centric corners of Naruto, Buffy, Big Bang Theory, and Harry Potter
17. What pairings are you most known for?
Katara/Zuko more than anything else, but also Kakashi/Sakura, Buffy/Spike, Harry/Luna, and recently Sheldon/Penny
18. What is something you will never put into your story?
Real Person Fic (it feels like lying), male pregnancy (eew), hardcore incest (eew), someone being threatened with sexual assault so they can get rescued by their love interest.
19. What do you think your trademark is?
I am not sure. In my fandoms of the last couple years I've play around with varying ratios of dialogue to description in stories, and also experimented with different styles, moods, and views of characterization. I'd say in recent stuff I'm probably known for balancing straightforward, plain dialogue with poetic, almost lyrical description. I tend to like details of scenery and layout...I absolutely have to accurately describe where everyone is in a room. If I don't physically place them in the scene, my brain can't account for them.
20. Give us a hint of future stories!
irrel is helping me in two ways: she's my sounding board for my first long-term original project, conceived just this week. (I hope all you reviewers who told me I should write novels were serious, and will buy my books, cause otherwise I'm in for serious heartbreak, heh. I'm actually terrified of writing my own stuff.) She's also working on the art for the sequel to my Big Bang Theory fic "The Earth Moved 1,117.7 Miles In Our Kitchen", which you can read in the comments of the link. I've got tentative plans for an epic Avatar fic that splits AU from the middle of the finale episode, and I seriously need to write and post the last 15 parts of "The Night Has Come To Hold Us Young", as promised. Beyond that, I've got an idea for a How I Met Your Mother one-shot that I want to write in the next week or two before the 4th season finale. And I've been thinking about writing a makeout ficlet for this Zuko/Katara ATLA fanart.
21. What's your favorite sentence of your own stuff?
All time travelers are wolves.
I like my metaphors simple and dramatic. Also, did I mention that I've written more than 144 stories? I seriously can't remember most of the sentences I've written, but this one is short & sweet.
22. Post a paragraph you're proud of.

22. Post a paragraph you're proud of.
Pigeons hopped over the cement, undisturbed by the rumbling of construction crews across the street. They warbled and twittered, fluttering feathers and dancing from foot to foot as they begged for scraps. A man watched them from where he sat on the sidewalk, back against the metal gate of the Hyperion Hotel property and arms draped across his bent knees. Every once in a while he’d swing a foot out if they got too close, and the hoard would jettison backward in mass tumble of squawking grey feathers. This man had done a lot of liberal and surprisingly benevolent things in his three plus years of human life; hand-feeding dirty, domesticated city birds would not be one of them.-This Is Your Life

And I'll buy your book, ship it and create a LJ/DWth community (but then again, I'm pretty sure I won't be the only one. Think of the slash communities that will be created!)
Ah, Culture Clash, it was one of the first fanfic I fanarted! Good times.
