Angel fans, lend me some commentary help

So, I've been following ATS since the end of the year, and have watched it steadily. Until last week. Which I missed completely, except for the last two minutes with the chanting bit and the hot Wesley.

Anyway, it's on in two hours, PST, and I was wonderign if anyone could give or point me to a brief recap of any necessary info from last week.

Thank you!

www.angelsacolyte.com

They have good, detailed episode descriptions there.

That's a splendid summary site... for season 6 of XF.

Yeppers. That was me being annoyingly and obscurely sarcastic.

[earlier this season]
Friend: "The 'Angel' writers often seem to be on a great deal of crack this season."
Me: "Crackety crack crack."
Friend: "You think it's the fault of Jeffrey Bell?"
Me: "Jeffrey Bell?"
Friend: "The showrunner this year; the ex-'X-Files' writer."
Me: "Wait, wait, waaaaaaaitaminute. Jeffrey BELL? He wrote 'Alpha'! That's my LEAST favorite episode of 'The X-Files' EVER!"
Friend & Me: "WOW! It's SEASON ALPHA!"

We're mean.

And I, too, rather liked Connor. But now I feel there is nothing left of him to like, as his brain and his personality with it have dribbled out his ears to puddle on his shoes.

See, that went way over my head.

But now I feel there is nothing left of him to like, as his brain and his personality with it have dribbled out his ears to puddle on his shoes.

I kept waiting and waiting for him to grow a backbone... now it's a redemptive death for him, me & [livejournal.com profile] onetwomany think.

Ultimately, outside of the last two minutes, it was really just "Gwen and Gunn look cool, banter, steal things, and have sex." It was worth watching, but most of it didn't really have huge long-term implications.

oh, I saw the G/G part at the very end! I'd forgotten... it was very cute, and they were both sexy. I saw from where he was putting the gizmo on her back.

Does that mean he cheated, or are he & Fred officially over?

IIRC, they officially broke up in Calvary, so he definitely didn't cheat. They kissed in Release, and Fred said she wanted to go back, but I don't think that really qualifies as them getting back together.

So good for Gunn, where I'm concerned! *g*

I pretty much always write a recap in my journal. Last week's is here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kimberly_a/161391.html) if you're still interested. :)
