Chocolate & Farscape... everything a girl needs

Why is it shippy fan videos, even ones that are kind of happy, make me want to cry?

I just rewatched this wonderful Farscape vid to Coldplay's "The Scientist", which inspired me to make my J/A icon a while back. And now I feel like crying, but in a smiley way. Damn, Claudia Black really is an excelletn actress. Ben Browder's no slouch, but she's just that little bit better. It was such a pretty vid. Why do I feel like crying?

This could also be because the show was cancelled. ::runs off to sob::

In other semi-interesting news, I literally jumped for joy for chocolate tonight. And they thought I wouldn't do it. Hah. That's nuthin'; my pride can take much worse in the pursuit of chocolate.

I'm supposed to be organizing my CDs (music & data) as I put them back onto my shelves and re-stock my room. Feh. Re-organize my CDs? Honestly, who does my family think they're dealing with?

Possibly same reason that happy country songs, even ones I think are sappy pieces of crap, can make me cry. In fact, I am more likely to tear up over happy scenes or songs than full out boo hoo things. Go figure.

What was it Xander said about Country? "The music of pain." ;)

Actually, for most stuff I'm happy when the subject is a happy one, but fan music videos just seem to be different for me. Especially the bittersweet songs, like Coldplay.

I am All Over the music of pain. (Another reason, no doubt, that I heart Xander.) I loathed it all during my youth, but let me tell you there's nothing more satisfying than having your heart wrenched out by George Jones.

shaka, if you haven't seen it before, i highly suggest the "i touch myself" pop-up vid if you're looking for a giggle. ;)

annie lennox's "lovesong for a vampire" ripped my guts out.

I have the pop-up one on my comp; haven't watched it yet.

Which version of Lovesong?--where specifically?
