Gratuoitous Image Posting --sorry for spamming LJ tonight
Ever since I saw Cowboy Bebop movie again and someone (was it you,
automatedalice?) pointed it out to me, I've come to accept the truth:

Or Spike Spiegel was drawn so that someday Adrian Brody might play him. One of the two.

Re:
Do you get the Cartoon Network? Trigun is playing at 12:00m (keeps interfering with my Farscape reruns!), and I think Bebop is on at 1, or 1:30am.
but damn that is remarkable!
Isn't it? I doubt it'll happen anytime soon, but damn what food for fantasy. :P

And what is The Fray? Can anyone tell me? :)
Re:
I think Fray is the name of a Slayer in the comic books set 400 years in the future. But I've never read them.
Cowboy Bebop is the name of a 26-episode animated TV show made in Japan, about a group of bounty hunters who travel in a spaceship. The short running series Firefly actually resembled a lot of the overall plot of Cowboy Bebop, from the lack of aliens to the dubious jobs to the mobster subplots. The three main characters are Spike Spiegel and Jet, who have been working together for a while as bounty hunters, and Faye Valentine who joins them in episode 3. Slightly more "main" though is Spike, as his backstory is eventually the catalyst for the finale.
There is a movie that was just released in American theaters that was set around episode 22, which is just before the final story arc happens, and so seems to take place withing the show. Luckily, the company that dubbed the english track was able to get the same actors as were used to create the English track for the series. I saw the movie last week. It was very good.

yes, it was me. ;) thank you for doing this, since i've been too lazy to post the two pics that i found. i was going to build a stupid icon or something. but yes, brody was born for it. ;) not that i'm all gung-ho for live-action bebop or anything, but brody beats edward norton (my previous choice) by a mile. it's those eybrows.

Don't know her, but she's pretty. I'd have to think carefully about Faye.
