wank:
There seems to be a trend among my friends list now to say "flashfic" instead of "ficlet", as if one fan-created word was inherently less inane or silly than the other. As if disliking the original enough to start a trend of an entirely new word to replace it isn't inane and silly in and of itself. Whatever. Fad, people, it's all fad. If the label is that important, call it what it is: a short story.

Are any of these too long? Is there a word limit for that option?

I voted for this one, because that whole angle cracks me up no end.
"What's the best way we can scare the fuck out of a vampire?"
"Send CARRION BEETLES after him!"
SPIKE & ANGEL: "Noooooooo! Not the beeeeeeeeetles!"
