I watched this movie Lucas on Encore. It was made in 1986, and one of the characters was a 17-18 year old Charlie Sheen, who was pretty fuckable, let me tell you.

Good movie, excellent script.

Oh god, I *adore* that movie.

Poor Corey Haim...

Hehe, no, no, no, not dead. Just sad that his career peaked at such a young age. When he hit his teens it was just dwindling away, actually playing second fiddle to the other Corey.

Dude. That movie was filmed in my town. Where I grew up, and (unfortunately) still lived. It was filmed at the rival high school (fuckers) and the "hospital" Lucas goes to at the end was actually a monastary down the street from my house.

Fun story: my sister's friend was moving from the Philipines to the US, and Lucas was her in-flight movie. She thought to herself "God, I hope we don't live in a place like that." On the way from the airport to her new house, what does she pass but the "hospital" and the high school from the movie. She swears up and down that she just started crying right there in the cab. Poor thing!
