timepiececlock: (fall in love tonight)

(no subject)

So I was driving back from taking my dog to the groomer's today, and thw whole way back I was thinking about the Buffy episode Lies My Parents Told Me. Especially the scenes near the end, when Buffy realizes Giles is stalling her, and then when she meets Spike outside, and then when she goes in and confronts Wood.

Not for any particular reason, but just because I think about that show a lot. It's my hobby, and I want it back. :pout:

::snert::

That's funny. Only because Giles' character is too dignified to stalk anyone.

Wanna go swimming? There's got to be a pool open somewhere in this area.

Or you could come over and watch a movie.

I'm so bored right now. Please?

I could do that. I was about to go pick up my dog from getting groomed but when I get back I could come over. :)

The show is not gone, nor is your hobby. Just watch your tapes/DVDs and be happy. Spike and Buffy will live on forever :)

Sorry, I'm in a very pro-Buffy mood at the moment

I read your review. Intelligent and interesting!

Some brilliant reviewer concluded that the Spike persona vampire William became was the direct result of being considered a weak, soft, oedipal and immature loser by his mother. I think this is indeed what we are being told.

Very good point, that.

and will probably keep reacting badly in the future, thus not being able to save Buffy or anybody else even if and when he wants to, let alone save himself.
Prudence, thy name is not Spike.

But you were WRONG, BWAHAHAHA! ::mad cackle:: In the final three episodes our boy was beautifully patient with Buffy, was smart, was calm, fought hard, lived, loved, glowed and saved the world.

::happy grin:: Yeah... Spike fans got the best death on the whole show.
