do you have bbc america? it comes on sundays and thursdays. in the uk, the series (seasons) are much shorter, but they don't take a whole year to come out like *some* shows. :]

have you seen the clips from the american version? their doing some of it shot for shot.

Nope. I heard that they've kept the script almost exactly the same.

If they're going to keep with that much detail, why bother? Might as well show the original.

Also, there's some cultural stuff which would be utterly lost. Like the very funny political argument between Patrick and Sally about which side constitutes the "Evil Establishment." I didn't know what they were talking about at first but I caught on eventually. I'm not sure how they'd change that one. Probably leave it out.

yeah, a lot of the references/humor will be difficult for joe america.
