Watched Buffy tonight on UPN. It was Storyteller; my mom watched the whole thing with me. I had to remind her who died in the end cause she'd forgotten.

I liked this episode, as I'm sure you remember yourselves. It was funny. Spike was hot. Everyone was hot. It was surreal and sad to see Amanda eating cereal when we get that totally mournful clip in the finale of her head falling to the ground. Which must have hurt, now that I think about it. For the actress I mean. How do you quell your natural instincts to put out your hands and stop the fall?

Yes but that wig! How can you stand that wig they put on poor Spike. I mean it looked like Spike in a wig pretending to be William! And then there was the whole mom thing that just made me think of Lestat... sorry I tend to rant.

What I really wanted to do was tell you I love your icon.

I think we're thinking of different episodes. The one you mean is Lies My Parents Told Me, with the flashback. This is the one where Andrew has a video camera, and we see Spike's naked back and Buffy's freckles.

[livejournal.com profile] anniesj made it, and I lurve it. My little Sculdery heart.

Storyteller is great. Loved watching Andrew and the videoing (Andrew reminds me of so many people I know).

And I have got to do that romance novel cover from the shot of Buffy and Spike in the kitchen. They're both trying to be serious, but since it's shot in slow mo, there are moments when it looks like they're cracking up a bit.
