No Wolfwood in the episode.... but we get Legato instead, and he's funny-scary.

Oh, one of my faovrite Trigun episodes is on right now! #12 - Diablo !

Featuring:
creepy glowy-eyed Vash
sympathetic Meryl
freakishly insightful Milly
a something-possibly-a-severed-head in a paper bag
a jail-break
a disturbing flashback of the city of July
mass murder by the dozens
a cross-town chase scene on foot
a bank safe being blown up
a stand-off at sunrise

Introducing:
Monev the Gale
Legato...Legato Bluesummers...
a complete flashback of Rem
Vash's false arm w/ the second gun
yet-to-be-explained telepathic powers
Vash's "everyone who gets close to me dies" complex

EDIT: "If I shot him now, then you really would die. It would be wrong to shoot him, right?"

Oh, it gives me shivers! I'd forgotten how much I liked this episode. I think it's my favorite, behind episode 24 and episode 23. Which is ironic, actually, because in episode 24 Vash faces the exact same moral question, and his repsonse is so much different, because he has been so far changed by his encounters with the Gung Ho Guns.

Yep, with this episode we have officially left the funny land, and entered the world of space-western supernatural melodramatic tragedy.

Trivia of the day: It is infact unhealthy to live your entire life trying to fullfill the memory of someone who died a long time ago. Break away, Vash, break away.

hello!

Thanks for giving me a little nostalgia trip.

Welcome! Rewatching it on CN has been a bit if a nostalgia trip for me. Also, I'm catching several foreshadowy bits I had forgotten, like the quote above.
