So there's this meme going around, where you ask friends to describe you in one word, presumably based on what they read of you in your journal.

I want to do this meme. But I want to be lazy and cheat, and ask people to describe me when I haven't described anyone else on my friends list yet.

So I will completely understand if you say "lazy" or "cheater" in your one word.

That's a nice thought. My ego sends its most gracious thanks.

I like your icon, btw.

No, just kidding.

Umm... how about, curious? Yeah, I'd say curious comes to mind when I think of you.

I'm sorry, did you say something? No, huh. Must've been the wind.

I do ask people questions all the time. I think I get it from my mom. When you're walking around a museum or tour or something, and there's that one person in the crowd always asking things of the docent/guide, and demanding answers and clarification and when was such and such built and what's it made of why? I'll admit that might be me.

Ah. I'll be a be a friendly lazy cheater, then! Cheers!

now that's a strange analogy. Ok.

Everytime I see you "man who sold the world icon" I think of Bowie.

That's why you got that one.

It was his song before Kurt got hold of it.

Ah, I get it.

I've heard both versions, but I have to admit I like the Nirvana cover better. But I greatly admire Bowie for writing it! And isn't my Spike Spiegel cool? He fits the lyrics completely.

oooh.. pretty 3-syllable word.

So, what's the rules for responding to this sort of thing, anyway? Do I say "thank you", or mutter a Captain-Jackian "Interesting...", or simply accept it with tightly closed lips?

[identity profile] sweet-ali.livejournal.com 2003-09-11 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I've been doing a mix. Mostly it's a combination of "That's...interesting. Thanks!"

youthful...

Well you make me feel old!

::squint:: How old are you again? I remember you told me, but I've forgotten. 24? Or was that [livejournal.com profile] spikespiegel? Hm...

I'm 25, so your more or less spot on!
