"The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."

I'm using my left hand now for my mouse. It's quite clumsy so far, but I'll get used to it and it will hopefully preserve my good hand in later times. Highlighting text is a real bitch though. I'll have to work on that.

I went lefty to make things easier on my neck due to the configuration of my desk at work. It is clumsy at first, but you'll get good at it! Plus you'll drive to distraction anyone who sits at your desk -- bwahahahaha!

I was already used to lciking the right button because I liked to cut and paste text that way, and to "open in new window." I think that's helping in the transition. Unfortunately, my right hand still automatically drifts to the side and comes up empty.

I just found out-- if you go into your PC under "Control Panel", and then "mouse", you can change the right/left buttons, so if you use it with your left hand you can still use your pointer finger for sellecting.
