some good grade news, and a "HELP ME!" request

Well, got an A on my Poetry and History MidTerms, and a B on my English Lit MidTerm. Bio is still a mystery, however I think I did well on my visual/oral presentation.

Here's the "HELP ME!" part: For my English Lit class I'm writing a huge essay, and I chose to analyze 3 films as my topic. The three films I chose are: Elizabeth, Jane Grey, and Anne of a Thousand Days. Yep, all women from one time period who ruled England, however brief or long.

Problem: cannot find a copy of Anne of a Thousand Days. I've tried all the Blockbusters and Hollywood Video stores in the South Bay, and none of them have it. It's not out on DVD, so I can't get it from Netflix. Libraries are a bust, including the campus.

Does anyone have a copy of this film they could share with me? If you could mail me the VHS I'd send you back money for shipping & cost of the tape. Or I could just borrow and return it. Likewise, any advice on how to find an old film (60s) would be enormously appreciated.

Did you just call the video stores or use the online finder? I know with Blockbuster you can start in your immediate area and branch out from there. You might also want to look up smaller local video shops, sometimes they have older titles that the big chains don't bother with.

I used the online one and blockbuster said they had it, but none of the stores in the SJ area (I think I called about 11) had copies. I called about 7 Hollywood video stores.
