for some unexplainable reason...

...an intense desire for Miroku/Sango fanfic struck me about 11:35 tonight, and I'm still up reading. Curses and hells. I ought to be sleeping.

EDIT: the bitch of it is that I'm awfully persnickity about it too. I have to had heartfelt angst and intense canon-like characterization, none of this fluffy WAFF stuff. Ignoring the fact that Takahashi's canon often is fluffy. Which is making in rather difficult--- damn it I should be sleeping! Why aren't I turning off the computer this very moment? Fandom, I curse you! Internet, I curse you more! This vile, cruel addiction to fanfiction will be the death of my essay tomorrow! And yet, do you see this? I'm *still* fucking typing!

Good night. Frell.

You know about Cataluna's list (http://www.geocities.com/cataluna281/fanficlist.html) of good fics, right? They're mostly IY/Kag, but there are some Miroku/Sango, as well.

Thanks ... I'll definitely give it a look. It's interesting enough to tempt me despite its unfinished state. :)

It's got some very good build up of the plot. And the writing style is excellent, though I'm not sure if IY's speaking pattern sounds quite right all the time. Nevertheless, the slow bits of S/M in that got me wanting to read more for that pairing...
