timepiececlock: (faye's bad day)

(no subject)

Just watched a nicely timed, but rather mundane Cowboy Bebop vid to Aerosmith's Dream On (a favorite song of mine), and the footage was all from the CB movie, Knockin' on Heaven's Gate... or Door? Door. Anyway, I noticed during the train thing with Vincent when Spike gets shoved out a window... Spike is like James Bond, or something. He's a character in a video game where the kid stole the cheat codes and put the main character on "god mode," where you can get hurt but never actually die, and if you do die then you have infinite lives, and you recover from fatal injuries from scene to scene. Maybe Spike Spiegel's the world's first male Slayer, but never realized his true calling. It's the only explanation.

Oh lord, do not make me start imagining a crossover. Hee.

I already had imagine one once, but never wrote it. It was all about Spike (the vampire) meeting Faye in a bar after CB ended...

Ooh. Now that does sound interesting...

If you're curious, I summarized a bit here:

Well, I always thought that it was fated for Spike and Vicious to end one another since in the premiere, the Native American (dude with the PS1 in his tent) pretty much says Spike won't die until he wants to. Runs off to watch Cowboy Bebop series to make sure. And get some base icons too.

Maybe he's the one with the vidoe game of Spike's life! ::creepy Matrix theme music starts to play::

Aww, chin up. Just remember that even as we speak, the Farscape mini-series is being filmed. Right...now. How cool is that, yeah?
