So last night I stayed up very late and read my new favorite LOTR fic ever, even beating out the OverCastDay fic which I have loved unchallenged for almost 8 months now(surprising, because hers was finished and this new one is not yet), and left it a very squealy page long review.

What's the pairing for this great, wonderful, fabulous fic that I love so much? ... Legolas/Eowyn. I never thought it could happen, but yes, I can totally rearrange my shipping based on the possibilities that arise out of just. one. perfect. fic.

Eowyn/Aragorn? Screw 'em. Bored now.

Eowyn/Faramir? Blah. WhatEVER, dude!

Legolas/OC? Why bother.

There is no going back. I am fundamentally changed.

I am an Eowyn/Legolas fan. I will now be doomed to spend every moment analyzing the scenes at Edoras and Helm's Deep for that special spark that logically I know isn't there yet (after all, the ~~new canon~~ fic is set after RotK and only touches on H'sD), but I will nonetheless strive to seek.

Because I have been convinced now that there is no better ship in all of LotR.

Except maybe Legolas/cameramen, and Legolas/backlighters, and Legolas/make-up artists, and Legolas/costumers....

I need to make icons.
