My favorite Dawn fic... short but worth every one of its 2399 words: 'This Messy Life' by Kalima. No, its not a new fic, but I wanted to reccomend it cause I reread it this afternoon for the hell of it, and still found it terribly enjoyable. Wonderful jobs with the characters all around, and the "Okay. If somebody doesn't slap her, I will," line was delicious. And Dawn's voice was absolutley perfect. Blackly hilarious. Kalima should be contracted to write the episodes.

Yep. I've read nearly all of Kalima's stuff. It's all fabulous. If you haven't read 'Daemons Luminati' either yet, check that out too... here (it's also on the fanic webpage she shares with Herself and a few others).

Anyway, D.L. is one of my favorite chapter fics of... EVER. I adore it, unspeakably. I just can't tell you how much.

:LOL: Heh. I save a hell of a lot of fanfic on my comp, and believe it or not, under 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' folder I actually have another folder that's specially set aside for stuff by Kalima, Havoc, anniesj, _wisteria and Anna S.

I'd also reccomend Kalima's 'Ketchup Blood'. That's one wicked little conversational piece that says a LOT about Spike and Buffy's character in just a little dialogue late night at a Denny's. Funny, weird, nasty, and a little sad.
