He's such a good guy, and she doesn't even realize what she's turning away. He obviously understands the risks of being around her-- as good as any boy her age possibly could, anyway, and plus he's still totally in love with her..., and clearly she feels romantically for him to... yet she's throwing him away! ::smack, smack:: What the heck are you doing, girl?
Tokio's actually my favorite character of this series, though I like Juna lot too.
Maybe it's with the whole complexity of being the Avatar of Time and the words. Eh, Tokio is definitely sweet. I've got to say that episode seven is one of my favourites, it's so thought provoking and pretty to watch Juna save Chris.
But! ^^ I've watched up to episode 64 of Naruto now so I'm catching up.
3. Would you think me weird if I was listening to "Love is just a bloodsport" by the Sneakerpimps and I started imagining Kabuto/Kakashi dark slash fic?
4. Aren't Rock Lee and Gai the funniest? And noble, too.
5. Sakura is finally acting more mature!
6. Don't you just LOVE Shikamaru?
7. Wasn't it the sickest thing ever to watch Naruto and Shikamaru argue with Gaara in the hospital? One of my favorite episodes by far. I love Naruto's reaction to Gaara... he knows what he's going through with having a demon sealed in him, and yet at the same time he's lucky, because he hasn't had it near as hard as this kid.
8. I just keep wanting to shout to everyone "Don't tease Naruto dammit, he could totally kick your ass!" But then I'd have to explain why, and of course Naruto doesn't want his seal to be common knowledge, etc etc. Also, demon = not a thing to brag about. And yet I want to.
9. I might have said this already but what I really love about this series is that there's no stock "jerk" or "wimp" or "class clown" etc... no stereotypes that hold up. Because as soon as you are presented with a stereotype, be it Ino's bitchiness or Rock Lee's exuberance or Sasuke's cold shoulder to the world, sooner or later the backstory or sidestory kicks in and you realize that they're just little kids, and they shouldn't be defined by one personality trait. Like finding out that Ino has good reason to be bitchy toward Sakura because despite having us side with Sakura naturally as a major character, Sakura was the one who hurt Ino and started the rivalry in the first place. Or learning that Lee's exuberant success is hard-won and very costly and not to be ridiculed. Or learning that Sasuke's not as hard and cold as he wants and pretends to be, and having his teammates look down on him for giving up the scroll did really get to him, because no matter how much he wants to be an avenger, rihgt now he's only a boy.
The only exception to this is Hinata. I keep waiting for the better, more interesting part of Hinata to kick in. So far she's still what she was before-- a shy girl with a crush.

Episode 1 of Arjuna is still my favorite, though episode 3 was very good as well... I loved Tokio cheerfully camping out in the forest to find Juna.
As I watch it now I keep wanting to shout at my monitor "Grab that boy and kiss him!" or do other sorts of running commentary on their love life.
I've found the environmentalism theme to be less compelling now than it was in the first episodes, though it has been very interesting to watch it's affect on the Juna/Tokio relationship. Like when Tokio is trying to tell Juna that her rejecting city life and modern society she's also rejecting him. Whether she actually is or not, he's connecting the two in his head and thinks it is. She's kind of on a pedestal, but he doesn't want her to be, he wants her back down on earth with him, and not to think of him as dirty or wrong because she thinks of the society as dirty or wrong and he likes that society. That's the thought-provoking part for me.
1. Kakashi? Damn man, I love him to death, lol, especially whenever he reads that damn book of his. Haha. 2. Yes, Kabuto is sick and disturbing and utterly cool. 3. Yes, that too. Hah 4. Lol, they're...soo corny. Chivalry and has this cheesy sense of poetic justice. But they're pretty cool. 5. About bloody time. ^-^ 6. Despite the fact that he's been stereotyped as this lazy bastard, he truly is good. Yeah he's cool. 7. *blink* Well, I suppose it's sick but lol, I've been watching too many sick wierd characters that this is normal for me. 8. I know the feeling, I can't wait till he fights Neji, I've got a feeling that he will be kicking some major butt. ^^ 9. I'm sure Hinata will come at one point or another, if she's going to follow the motto that was Naruto inspired. Although, it is kinda creepy to see her stalking Naruto at such a young age lol, besides Naruto/Sakura, this is my second favourite. It's true too, with what you said, in the end, they are all kids and despite their 'signature' personality so to speak, there's always another side to them.
At this point, I really really like Jeraiya and this sort of odd relationship he has with Naruto. Lol. I love their interactions - it's hilarious.
Okay, is it just me or do you think that Naruto's father is the 4th Hokage?
~
Heh, which is probably why he is extremely annoyed at Chris.
7. *blink* Well, I suppose it's sick but lol, I've been watching too many sick wierd characters that this is normal for me.
I meant "sick" as in "cool." It was a cool scene. Um... sorry, that's my slang coming through.

I like him too-- at first I was put off by his character design, but he's funny and I like their interactions a lot. It's a fun balance of watching Naruto try to manipulate him into being a better teacher, when Jeraiya is already aware of everything Naruto tries, but gives in to teach him something anyway to get him off his back.
Okay, is it just me or do you think that Naruto's father is the 4th Hokage?
I'm having serious suspicions toward that way, especially since the 4th was blond and Naruto is the only person in the village we've seen yet that remotely resembles him. Also would explain his orphaned state, and it has a disturbing symmetry to it-- if you're going to curse a child from infanthood, probably best to do it to your own kid rather than someone else's. Just a theory, though.
My favourite parts are always the other character's reactions to Naruto doing something impossible in their eyes. Like beating Kiba and Neji. ^^ Take that! Haha.
Cool cool. I've been waiting for the bal to drop and all the tension with the other villages to come to a head. And now it has! And everything is crazy and people are gonna die and Kakashi and Gai kick ass, and Kabuto's creepy and, also, I've got a bit of a crush on the judge for the third exam.

ep 64!
1. Isn't Kakashi the coolest?
2. Isn't Kabuto one sick puppy?
