Yes. There was a remake done by Stabbing Westward. Which isn't half bad if I recall correctly.

there are multiple mixes, edits, & remixes, but as far as the track goes, bernard's vocal & the individual programming tracks are the same.

the version I have is 6:44. I'm interested in finding the popular radio version; I don't think this one is it. Must be a remix.

I have an extended dance mix and what was labeled on my download service as a "Pet Shop Boys remix". I, too, would like a shorter version.

the one i posted is the album version. the "shorter" one you're thinking of is a the single edit (so it would fit on a 7" platter). i think i have it also, but i'll have to dig.
