::plugs in Saiyuki DVD #1::

Okay, here we go. Let's hope this doesn't suck as the manga volume I wasted 10 bucks for.

How about a trade? I've got Trigun vol. 2, and I'm willing to lend it to you. We're close enough to each other that it should work out easily.

The animation isn't all that good, but I find it entertaining. The first DVD is pretty light, but the second and third DVDs start to delve into their backgrounds and you start finding out a little bit about what shaped them. And they actually run into enemies that give them some trouble in a fight.

And I'm starting to realize I'm pretty much a sucker for dirty monks/priests. I see a Miroku/Sanzo/Wolfwood icon in my future.

Too bad there isn't something like Netflix for manga.

oh, yeah! I forgot, you live in the Bay Area too. Neato. I'm in sort of the south middle of San Jose. Where are you? Please don't say San Francisco cause I am broke and commuting sucks.

A lending trade sounds delightful. Email me! rashaka_eos@hotmail.com. Probably best if you do it because I'm terrible at follow-up on this sort of thing and will likely forget by morning.

Interesting!

I'm actually getting Saiyuki from Netflix. They also have InuYasha and Witch Hunter Robin. They don't have a lot of older stuff but they seem to be acquiring more recent titles as they come out.
