I was just now watching this female blonde anchor on MSNBC News interview the top guy who was fired from the Sinclair Brodcasting company for protesting the airing of that smear documentary as a "news" broadcast.

Whoever this woman is (the MSNBC anchor), her questions had me sitting there with my jaw on the floor. What the FUCK? What kinds of questions are these? It's like watching Fox News interview someone.

Ok, there goes any last dwindling respect I had for MSNBC. Gee, the number of national news channels on cable that I can actually stand to watch even a little keeps on dwindling and dwindling.

You had respect for MSNBC? That's a great joke. Mind if I use that :)

I have a meager, pin-sized insignificant amount for the fact that hey, at least they aren't Fox.

Actually you get much better news coverage on C-Span. (I avoid the call in show, spare me anyone's spin please. But they cover so much that the networks ignore, and without so called journalists giving their corporate masters spin. You see it just as it is. They've covered rallies around the country, protests (like the huge one in NYC that went on four hours during the RNC) they also show some sessions British and Canadian parliments, and occassionally other countries as well. They also have long interviews on C-Span2 of authors that have recently come out with books and go to book publishing conferences, they covered the now "infamous" book conference session where Bill O'Reilly flaked out at Al Franken, with Molly Ivins attempting to referee and poor Pat Schroeder not being able to reel in O'Reilly at all. She eventually stopped trying and ceeded that to Molly Ivins who was able to stopper the blowing volcano that was Bill O'Reilly by fooling him with southern charm.

is C-span a cable channel? It's one that I've heard about but never looked for or watched.

Yes, if you have cable you should have C-Span. :)
