So now I've seen two episodes of Drawn Together on Comedy Central, and it's officially my new favorite cable show after The Daily Show. It's the most insulting, affronting, uninhibited cartoon I've seen in a long time, and it's won my heart. It's awful and so non-pc, but somehow it doesn't turn me off the way South Park sometimes does. Maybe the characters are just funnier to me because they parody cartoon characters and I like cartoons.

My favorite is Ling Ling, the little orange creature that looks like an orange Pikachu from Pokemon, and speaks only in Japanese with subtitles. The others never know what its saying and it's got some obsession with doing the dishes. Although I'll admit, the mock Disney princess, Clara, is pretty funny too. I think I need some icons...

Hell yes--I'm so glad you like this show. It's my new fave show of this season. Dear lord, it's hilarious.

And yes, we needs some iconses.

The monster vagina thing was cracking me up so bad. Such a parody of "girls being told to be ashamed of their bodies and sexual parts."

I missed half that ep, but the part I caught was hilarious.

I liked it last night when Ling-Ling sprang out of Goth-girl's gullet and was chittering, "Nothing to do inside but have sex with roast chicken!" And then walked off with said chicken. Effin' brilliant.

"Nothing to do inside but have sex with roast chicken!"

::cackle:: That was great. I wish someone in my dorm house spoke Japanese so I could ask them if the subtitles were true. They probably were, or worse. ::snicker::

Venture Bros. does it so much better than Drawn Together. That is, if you're looking for crack and a plot. If you're just looking for crack, DT gets the job done.

I watch venture brothers. Didn't like it. Its ability to be crudely funny was hindered by its plot.
