Do you know?

Ed
1. ..blah blah...
2. ...blahdhhy blah...
7. Ed's name came from 'Edward Scissorhands'.

OMGLOVE. No way. If that's true... If Edward's name really came from a Tim Burton movie...

I didn't think it was possible for me to love FMA more than I already did, but that just goes to show this series can suprise me even when I've seen every episode once and some six times.

Arakawa, thank you for thinking up FMA. Thank you for being a Tim Burton fan. I'll be thinking of FMA when I see Charlie & the Chocolate Factory next year.

That's an interesting little bit about Ed's name, considering Edward Scissorhands is one of a few Burton movies I enjoy. Sleepy Hollow and (omgIfreakingworship) Ed Wood. If it'd been Ed Wood ... that'd have brought a whole nother visual to Edward Elric for me. In a pink angora sweater.

Okay, thoroughly scared now.

and you had to mention the angora sweater...

I can see it... kinda. But wow. Yes. is SUPER cool.

Perhaps I'll use that for my next Edwina doll. XD

I've never seen Ed Wood, and I've only seen a few bits of Edward Scissorhands. But I love many of Tim Burton's other films, especially Sleepy Hollow and A Nightmare Before Christmas and Big Fish. It's just the idea of it... that a series I love this much was first thought of by someone who was inspired by a film by a director that I love. How many degrees of fannish separation is that? Pretty few.
