I LOVE THIS SHOW! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

[livejournal.com profile] riddering, [livejournal.com profile] hecatehatesthat.... Episode 10 of Tutu (in which more spazzy things that make me smile continue to occur): http://s25.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2V7R4PONC15EU2QDXLXSNY24NU

Dude, Fakir is totally smitten with the duck form of Ahiru, her true self. And now he knows! He knows that Ahiru is Princess Tutu, and if he has any brains he'll realize that Ahiru=ahiru, so the duck has some connection to her. I doubt he'll automatically realize she IS the duck, though.

And he totally was like

"Bah, it would be troublesome to bother threatening you anymore when I'm obviously not going to do anything! So scram!"

Like chipped!Spike snapping pointless because everyone knows his posturing is just posturing at this point.

And then when Tutu made her peace offering he was all shyly surprised. Because she KNOWS he's good now and she is going to keep seeing him that way, even if he tries to scare her off.

I love how when a confrontation ends, Tutu doesn't have a grand exit, she just...runs off. Like "KTHNXBYE!" as she flutters off around a corner.

Chibi!Fakir is so bright, and cheerful, and outgoing! And then following Mytho around and taking care of him turned him into a control maniac. Poor guy.

Anyway, a lot happened in this episode. Besides all the Fakir stuff. Ahiru had to solve the problems without the advantages of being a girl or a princess... just a little duck. It reminded me of something. Possibly the Psyche/Cupid story where she has to do all these trials to win him back... but I don't think that was it. But it reminded me of something. Possibly another anime, possibly a book, possibly a myth. Something where the heroine has to do it without magic before we can know if she's really learned or grown.

And next episode is "love"! Whee! Who does Rue love? Who does Mytho love? Who does Tutu love? Who does Ahiru love? Who does Fakir love?

Everything you said, AND -- the episode was called "Cinderella." She lost her pendant in place of a glass slipper and who picked it up and found her in her peasant/servant duck state and returned her slipper to her, making her a princess? FAKIR MOTHERFUCKA!

You're so right. pendant=glasss slipper.

Dude, keep commenting on my journal. I would miss the most amazing details without you. FAKIR MOTHERFUCKA!

Oh, and in like 10 minutes I'm posting my Ahiru/Fakir theme song on my LJ, which I just decided on tonight.
