Doctor Who, episodes 3 & 4

1. How can I be expected to read my textbook on the National Security Agency when I am tempted with these episodes of some alien doctor fighting zombies with Charles Dickens and saving the world from alien pigs?! How, I ask you?

2. WHAT? How can it end on a cliffhanger like that? EPISODE FIVE. NOW!

3. They are so shippy. So he's an alien and probably asexual or christmas-tree-sexual or something.

Who cares?

I watched 4 seasons of Farscape, yo. Inter-species alien lovin' and black leather jackets is what TV is all about.

Fun, isn't it? And not in the least challenging. Makes a great treat for after I've done my work. Or, you know, in lieu of work. And, yes, they are *so* shippy. Why else would he ask her along? Either he digs her, or he's very lonely and hasn't had any luck finding a nice Christmas Tree. ;)

I have no idea. I know the last one was a tv movie made in 1989, so I'd probably download that one, but the others looked a little too old for me to sink my teeth into, based on the images I've seen.

They are SO 'shippy. I wasn't expecting to really enjoy this show, since the last sci-fi show I watched was Roswell (shut up) which was less sci-fi and more "teen romance with aliens," y'know? But the Doctor and Rose's adorable shippyness, and the snark and fast-moving plotlines have totally sucked me in. I just spent all evening tracking down fic.
