New Naruto manga chapter

OMGWTFBBQ?!?!?!!!!!

OMG! ::traumatized:: ACK! OMG!

THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS SERIES!

1. Naruto instantly knew it was genjutsu! He's so good and matured as a ninja!

2. Jeraiya flashbacks! OMG!

3. For the first time Naruto really looked older to me in this chapter. Something about the hair and the face shape and the height combined.

4. Cool image with the birds.

5. What a wicked illusion. Poor Naruto... he was becoming all these people. In a gross way. Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Gaara... gross.

6. How does Itachi know about Sasuke's final form, or that Naruto KNOWS about Sasuke's final form? How does he know about Naruto's emotional weakness regarding Gaara? Is the Akatsuki info network just that good? Or were those parts of illusion provided by Naruto's mind, not Itachi at all?

7. Naruto is just... so different now. The speed of his reactions in battle, his immediate goal-oriented way of thinking even under the pressure of the genjutsu, his total lack of childish behavior...

Our babyninja really has grown up. ::sniffle:: I'm so, so proud.

I think that was it. I mean, even if Itachi and the Akatsuki know about Sasuke's final form and the connection between Naruto and Gaara, I really don't think there's anyway they could know about his feelings and fears regarding everyone he's close to. I mean, those were some really deep, personal fears that they were voicing...Like Kakashi saying he was disappointed in Naruto or Gaara being angry that Naruto had it better than he did. I don't see how the Akatsuki could know that Naruto has massive amounts of guilt regarding Gaara. Especially since that guilt is unfounded. Naruto's life was shitty, too, until Iruka came along. Gaara wasn't lucky enough to have someone like Iruka, but that isn't Naruto's fault. So, I think Itachi's genjutsu was meant to play on his deepest fears to weaken him.

That was the best Itachi mind-fuck ever. He gained points in my Cool Book.
