More specifically, my awesome dad just bought me a wireless adapter, so now I can connect from my personal computer again.

Which means I can download stuff again.

And here I thought I'd have to wait until I moved into my new apartment. So much for that!

donna_c_punk, the first thing I'm gonna do is get some Fruits Basket uploaded for you. We must hook you ASAP.

And while I do that, I'm going to finish downloading volume 13 of the manga... and I'm going to see if I have bittorrent here or not. ::crosses fingers::

well, if you don't think it'll impose of the people you're trying to get it to, I could just download from the same Casanova links you're already uploading. Recycling links-- it's what YSI is best for!

Ah, but that's the trouble. Each of the three episodes is roughly 500mb, YSI only allows 1gig of downloading for each upload, and there are four people who want it. So, I'm already doing each ep twice.

Well, apparently I spoke too soon. My DVD with Fruits Basket episodes appears to have gone missing... I'm not sure if I just can't find it since I moved out of the dorm, or if it's well and truly gone. However, I may be able to help you anyway. Do you have an ftp client that you use? If you don't, I can send you a copy of bulletproof FTP that you can use. I have an online friend who runs a large FTP server with several anime series on it-- that's how I got the FB fansubs originally. I don't give her address out to the community because she doesn't want to be swamped with people, but she's said I can tell a few people every once in a while, so that she knows people are accessing it.

Most of the series are older, and often the file sizes are smallish. The Fruits Basket file sizes start out small, and latter episodes are larger. Anyway, I can give you the address and password, and you can download it from there. :) It's slower than YSI (and speed often depends on how busy it is on different parts of the day), but it pauses and resumes nicely.


So Dietier's VA is Naruto's VA? I can't believe I didn't notice until now (episode 16). Though, to be fair, he hadn't spoken much yet until this episode either. But yeah, I can really hear it.

I don't believe I have an FTP client. The only time I've DL'd files directly from another person were through AIM, so ... I have no clue. Probably not. I am one of the most computer illiterate people around. But if that's the only way we can make it happen, that's cool. I'll sort it out.

Yep. The same seiyuu, it is! It was driving me crazy in his first episode. "Where have I heard that voice before?!" So I looked it up and saw it was the woman who voices Naruto. Extremely surprised because Naruto's voice is the one I hate the most which, coincidentally, makes me not like the anime version of the character much.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. There are a shitload of twists and turns. Once you think you have it figured out, they throw a curve ball or a slider and you're like, "WTF?!" I'm still not 100 percent sure on what the hell happened at the end of the series, I need to read the manga chapters again. It takes fucking forever for the fansubs of Monster to get released. The last two were put out the week of June 18th and nothing since.
