OMG! StopTazmo has been updated with up to chapter 107 of Fruits Basket!

When did THAT happen? And why didn't anyone TELL me? I thought we were still at chapter 102 or something...

::downloads newest madly::

Guh!

Haru is scary when mad. I wonder if he's going to do anything more toward Akito, or if he'll just focus on Rin right now.

The end of chapter 106, when Haru is carrying Isuzu on the street, I was reminded of that quote from Firefly: "When you can't run anymore, you crawl. And when you can't crawl, you find someone to carry you."

Chapter 107 broke my heart for Kyo and Tohru. Frankly, as much as I love learning about the real story behind the Sohma family, I'm eager for the story to go back to Tohru again, and Kyo. Kyo's been sadly neglected in storylines lately. In the conversation Tohru walked in on, with Rin and Shigure-- my heart cheered for her, for demanding that "eventually" isn't good enough. Shigure and Rin are so used to the misery that they can endure it with the hope that it will someday end-- but Tohru knows the person to pay the price will be Kyo, and she's not so used to misery and oppression that she'll put up with it.

I liked the little brush-by thing between Kyo and Tohru in the kitchen. God those two are so in love. Of course, Tohru would fight just as hard for someone she was only friends with, but the fact that they're in love makes it so much worse.

I like that Shigure seems to be brining Rin into his confidences-- somewhat at least. It was his get-well present? Damn, manga!Shigure has a twisted sense of humor sometimes.

Goddamn I wish there could have been more seasons of the anime! I would have the next season be done by the people who made Paradise Kiss--- they nicely achieved a personal romantic drama that handled mature sexual sexual themes.

Sometimes I look back at Furuba as it started and think, "How did we get here?" I used to think of it as a comedy, but it hasn't been that since like volume 10...

I just wish it were safe to browse ff.net. I'm afraid of spoilers beyond the current scanlations, so I haven't gone in months. But I'd like some Furuba fanfic...

Tazmo's had FB for a long, long time. I never mentioned it because, um, I thought you knew?

I did, but last time I checked it was only up to 102. Now it's got five more chapters!

And... OMG! ::is reading right now:: ...OMG! Drama and trauma and OMG!

Would you like a link to some well done summaries so that you can catch up? Or are you a scanlation-only kind o' girl?

Scanlation ONLY. I'm one of the few on my flist who's a true blue no-spoiling' girl when it comes to FB.

Ah. Well, if I come across any scanlations beyond chapter 107 I'll be sure to pop by with a link.

You don't want to taunt me. Just ask [livejournal.com profile] catystorm how astronomically freaked out I was when thought I'd gotten spoiled for the FMA movie. It was bad. Tres bad. Spoilers and me aren't friends.

...Spoilers gravitate toward me whether or not I avoid them. Actually, they orbit me especially when I try to avoid them, so I figure it's a lost cause. ;D

I know, the story used to be so light-hearted and now it seems to becoming ultra-angsty, like Pita-Ten.

I like that the darkness was always hinted at for a long time before it came to the center of the storyline, though; the change from light to dark has been very steady and well-foreshadowed, coinciding with Tohru's getting deeper and deeper into the family.

Yeah, but when you go back in read you realize how much has changed. Like when I just recently watche the first episode of Avatar I was like, "Wow...how did we get away from this?"
