Hee. Gave it a try. It's not bad...just a little sudden, dont'cha think? And while generally in-character, that is, something we can easily see in the future, the present seems like an odd time. Then again, carpe diem, this author might argue correctly...

Sudden. You're right... that's why it feels weird. I would have probably been able to get into it more if it was an angsty road-trip fic or something about them leaving Sunnydale behind for the apocalypse and feeding off each other's survivor's guilt... but heheee... that's totally not what this write is writing, so nevermind.

By the way, your icon cracks me up. Is the caption a quote of anything?
