That means you're current on spoilers?

Didn't you *love* how episode 43 ended? When Roy yelled at them for not asking for his help, my heart nearly burst from fannish joy. It was so right and so perfect a character moment for all of them.

Because you know that not only did Roy try to help them this whole time... but since losing Hughes he must have felt particularly hurt by the brothers turning away from him and not trusting him enough. After all, Hughes died because he went in over his head, and because he didn't give any information to Roy the way the two had planned, his information died with him until the snake woman and Al learned the truth. When the Elric brothers stopped informing Roy of their activities with the Philosopher's Stone and didn't come to him for help when the shit hit the fan... he must have feared the same thing would happen to them. And he didn't want to be responsible for the death of others under the umbrella of his supposed protection just because they deliberately put themselves out of his reach.

Wasn't Lt. Ross funny with her starry eyed crush? And you know, it kinda fits because Ross has already played a motherly role to the two boys.

Speaking of FMA in general... didn't episode 37 just amuse the crap out of you? I was completely tickled.

It's still uploading, it'll be here when it's done(Says an hour and 15minutes): FMA46

Yes, I just finished watching 45. And I'd kill to be able to dye my hair that easily. *g*

I loved that part(Loved the entire episode)! The only thing that could have made me love it more would have been Roy knocking Ed upside the head because the doofus deserved it. Doesn't he know that Roy is here to make everything better? He will become Fuhrer and then all will be right with the world(That's what someone told me and now I keep telling myself that).

Episode 37 ... with the paperwork avoiding!Roy and those images of Armstrong in a dress frolicking through the fields. Bwah! I loved that episode. A nice reprieve from the normal, "Aaaah! What's going to happen to ____?! Oh god, they're going to die/get caught/explode/turn into a big pink stone/kill a bunch of people!".

Yes. Fuhrer Roy will make everything right. It can be a mantra! The mantra that everyone on my flist who watches FMA must accept as official mantra. The deep belief that no matter how often characters die/get caught/explode/turn into a big pink stone/kill a bunch of people, IT WILL BE OKAY IN THE END BECAUSE FURHER ROY WILL MAKE EVERYTHING ALL RIGHT IN THE WORLD. FURHER ROY WILL FIX IT.

I loved that episode. A nice reprieve from the normal, "Aaaah

Yup. And when they argued with their notetaking! And the thing with the dog burying the bones and them digging it all up.

And my favorite part, when Roy ordered the rest of his staff to get Havoc a girlfriend. And their dumbfounded reactions.

::big grin:: And people say he doesn't care about his underlings...

I got it, thanks!

Really, thank you so much. lately it's a total coin toss if suprnova is going to load or not-- it went a week not loading, then uploaded fine for three days, and no it's not loading again. I don't know why.

But now I have the episode, ready to be watched in the morning before I head to work. :)

P.S. I revised my Roy fic! I fleshed it out and smoothed the transitions and added some stuff, and now all I need to do is transcrible the flashback from episode 25, and then chapter 1 should be finished. I'm very pleased because it's going so well. And I've remained remarkably dry-eyed so far. Though that probably won't last.

I need to make Furher Roy Will Make It Better icons along with the Hope!Hughes icon.

I usually don't have problems with Suprnova, but I'm on the computer at odd hours. I usally grab the episode on a Tuesday,so if you ever can't get it to load, poke me and I'll upload it for you.

*rereads fic*
Smoother transitions better. :o)
Am sure you are going to turn me into Captain Goober with this fic.

::laughs:: Oh, I'm so sorry for the sheepishness this is going to bring on, but...

I haven't posted the revised version yet. I was gonna finish the flashback then post it all as chapter 1. I'm thinking, a 2-3 chapter fic.

Furher Roy Will Make It Better icons

OH yes.

I just thought I'd ask seeing as you're talking about bittorrent ...

My house at school has no cable. Therefore, I am missing a number of shows, and am going crazy! I've tried downloading a few from suprnova.org, but their .avi and my Quicktime software won't play them. Do you know where I can download .mpeg files for bittorrent? If I don't see The Daily Show soon, I swear I'll combust ...

Well, the thing about bittorrent (and if you already know this, forgive me) is that it's not just avi files. It's any and all file forms. You could word documents on bitorrent if you wanted too.

In answer to your specific question, I don't know where to find mpegs of the Daily Show. I would have suggested suprnova but if not there, then I'm useless. I mostly look at anime torrent sites so they don't usually include daily show torrents; suprnova is the only big multi-purpose one I visit.

I would suggest posting a general plea for help on your journal to see if anyone on your flist knows, and I would also try [livejournal.com profile] thedailyshow; the people there can probably help you with links.

Your best bet, though, is to go for some upgrades. Download a media player client that plays avi files, download DivX codecs, and go with it. Most files are done in avi form that I've come across, and finding non-avi forms will be a challenge for you.
