So I felt like making an icon cause I don't have any Monster icons. This has been an iconmaking week for me.

I'd make an icon of the end credits, except that the end credits freak me out big time.

Didn't realise there was an anime of Monster.

lil_cuddly_bear keeps urging me to read the mangas but I'm having trouble finding an english translated version of them.

Any ideas?

Give me an idea for movie dialogue that I can crossover with Trigun stuff.

Or tell me a funny fanfic dialogue line that I can make into an icon.

I've got something better anyway. Two things, actually. One OTF, one Wolfwood/Vash, of all things.

I can't make screencaps! It's messed up. I tried to make screencaps from the ogm files I have, but they won't play in mediaplayer, and so I have to use BS player, which means if I try to cut & paste from the "printscreen" button and paste my destop into MS paint like I normally do, the image won't copy over. So I can't make screencaps.

So I dig out a DVD. But the same problem happens with my DVDplaying program. And when I play the DVD in windows media player, which will usually let me make screencaps, it won't this time!

ARG! How do you make screencaps from DVDs?

I found two things of dialogue from the movie Clerks (which I already made into that CB/Trigun/Star Wars icon a long time ago) that I wanted to make. But right now I can't get any screencaps:



Vash shouting at Wolfwood (or the other way around, depending on screencap)--

DANTE: "Try not to suck any dick on the way to the parking lot!"


Wolfwood/Meryl talking: (some variation off this dialogue, cut down)

CAITLIN
(hits him)
"Jerk. Here I am, throwing myself at
you, succumbing to your wily
charms, and you call me a slut, in
so many words."

DANTE
"What about Sing?"

CAITLIN
"Sang."

DANTE
"Sang."

CAITLIN
"He's not invited."

DANTE
"He's your fiancé."

CAITLIN
"I offer you my body and you offer
me semantics? He's just a boyfriend,
Dante, and in case you haven't
gotten the drift of why I came all
the way here from Ohio, I'm about
to become single again."

CAITLIN (CONT'D)
"And yes-let me placate your ego-you
are the inspiration for this bold
and momentous decision, for which
I'll probably be ostracized at both
school and home. You ask me who I
choose, I choose you."

DANTE
"So what are you saying?"

CAITLIN
"You're such an asshole."

DANTE
"I'm just kidding."

CAITLIN
"I can already tell this isn't going
to work."
